Educational Qualification

Application Fee
The application fee for General and OBC candidates is ₹500. For Female, OBC, SC, and ST candidates, the fee is ₹250. All payments must be made through online mode.
Salary Structure
The starting monthly salary varies based on the post. For Technician Grade I Signal, the starting salary is ₹29,200 per month. For Technician Grade III Open Line, the starting salary is ₹19,900 per month. Salaries will be provided as per the rules for each respective post.
Selection Process
The selection process for the Railway Technician Recruitment 2025 involves several stages. Candidates will undergo a Written Exam, which may be OMR-based or a Computer Based Test (CBT). This will be followed by an Interview, Document Verification, and a Medical Exam.
The Computer Based Test (CBT) for Technician Grade I Signal will consist of 100 questions, to be completed in 90 minutes. The syllabus includes General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Computer Applications, Mathematics, and Basic Science & Engineering. Please note that there will be a negative marking of one-third for incorrect answers.
